There are over 143 million orphans in the world. Every 13 seconds, another child is orphaned in Africa due to AIDS. There are 118,000 children waiting to be adopted in the US foster care system alone. The numbers are staggering, yet “I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Caring for orphans through adoption is normal…according to the word of God. We ought to be cheering people on that choose to graft another into the family of God.
